The following diagram shows 2004 Kawasaki KLV100 V-Strom fuel pump controls system schematics. The fuel pump system consists of fuel pump, starter relay, fuel pump relay, ignition system, battery, engine stop switch, starter button, side-stand switch, starter motor, spark plug, ECM, sensor. When the ignition switch is turned on, current from the battery flows to the fuel pump motor through the sidestand relay and the fuel pump relay causing the motor to turn. Since the ECM has a timer function, the fuel pump motor stops turning in three seconds after the switch has been turned on

Ducati ST2 Electric Fuel Pump and Fuel Circuit Diagram

The Ducati ST2 is equipped with electric fuel pump which is volumetric and has rotating lobes, with the motor immersed in the fuel. It is a brush motor immersed in the fuel. It is a brush motor energized by a permanent magnets. This prevents overheating of the electric motor. Following diagrams shows the Ducati ST2 Fuel System Circuit. The fuel is injected by the electroinjectors in the intake manifold of each cylinder, upstream of the intake valve. The circuit consists of a pump (1), a filter (2), a pressure regulator (3) and a degasser (4) connected to the lower flange of the fuel tank.

The following pictures shows Volkswagen Beetle Engine Diagram, which applicable for 1200, 1300, 1500 and 1600cc engines from 1954 to 1974 model series. These four cylinder engines are of an air-cooled horizontally opposed design. The four finned cylinder barrels are separately mounted and each pair has a common cylinder head containing the valves and rocker gear. The firing order is 1 – 4 – 3 – 2. Minimum oil pressure at normal operating temperature is 28 psi at 2,500 rpm.
