The Fiat Uno ignition system is divided into two circuits, the low tension (LT) circuit and the high tension (HT) circuit. The low tension (sometimes known as the
primary) circuit consists of the battery, the lead to the ignition switch, the lead from the ignition switch to the low tension or primary coil windings, and the lead from the low tension coil windings to the contact breaker points and condenser in the distributor. The following circuit and schematic diagram shows typical ignition circuit of Fiat Uno which consists of primary and secondary winding, ignition switch, condenser, sparking plugs, rotor, distribution cap and battery. Schematic Diagram is a diagram which shows by means of graphic symbols, the electrical connections and functions of a specific circuit arrangement. The schematic diagram is used to trace the circuit and its functions without regard to the actual physical size, shape, or location of the component devices or parts. Read more [...]
Pictoral Diagram is a simplified diagram which shows the various components of a system (motorcycle, car, ship, electronic devices, airplane, etc) without regard to their physical location, how the wiring is marked, or how the wiring is routed. It does, however, show you the sequence in which the components are connected. Read more [...]
