The cooling system in the 2013 BMW F06 M6 Gran Coupe engine. The engine and charge air cooling both have separate cooling circuits. The engine cooling is done by a conventional coolant pump. In this engine, higher coolant flow rate is achieved by the modified impeller geometry of the coolant pump. The cylinder head cooling has also been optimized.
