The following motorcycle wiring diagram applies for Kawasaki KDX200 (98-04). In this manual you will find detail information about wiring diagram, exploded view, electrical specification, special tools needed for repairing/servicing electrical system, wiring inspection procedures, flywheel magneto, ignition system, ignition coil removal and installation, lighting system, etc.
Wiring Inspection Procedures:
- Visually inspect the wiring for signs of burning, frying, etc. If any wiring is poor, replace the damaged wire.
- Pull each connector apart and inspect for corrosion, dirt and damage. If the connector is corroded or dirty, clean it carefully. If it is damaged, replace it.
- Check the wiring for continuity. Use the wiring diagram to find the ends of the lead which is suspected of being a problem. Set the meter to the x 1Ohm range, and lead the meter. If the meter does not read zero Ohm, the lead is defective. Replace the lead or the wiring harness if necessary.
