A Six-Phase rectifier is kind a transformer used to produce six alternating electromotive forces which differ in phase by one-sixth of a cycle, and which feed six diodes. When polyphase AC is rectified, the phase-shifted pulses overlap each other to produce a DC output that is much “smoother” (has less AC content) than that produced by the rectification of single-phase AC. Following schematic diagram shows sample of a Six-Phase rectifier circuit diagram.
