The Edge was presented to the public at the Detroit Motor Show in January 2006. Production began in October of that year. Four versions are offered: SE, SEL, Limited and Sport. The setting SE includes cloth seats, manual single-zone air conditioning, AM / FM radio with CD and MP3 player, alloy wheels and aluminum. The models with preparation SEL have fabric seats instead special, where the driver’s electrically adjustable 6-position, stereo AM / FM stereo with 6-CD / MP3 player, leather steering wheel with integrated controls the stereo and 18-inch wheels with rims of aluminum alloy.
The Edge is assembled in Oakville, Ontario, Canada. The exhibition Limited included leather seats and, on request, 6 positions adjustable passenger seat, folding seat, second-row seats with system EasyFold abatement practical, dual zone climate control, connectivity system (assistance, anti-theft transmitter, etc.) and 18-inch chrome wheels made of aluminum alloy.
