The compressor is the main component of the AC, which serves to circulate refrigerant throughout the air-conditioning unit by increasing the pressure of the refrigerant. Compressor function similar to the function of the heart in the human body and refrigerant as blood. The compressor has two channels, namely channel suction (suction) and exhaust (discharge). Suction channel connected to the evaporator and the low pressure side, while the discharge duct connected to the condenser and the high pressure side.

Refrigerant in the gas phase at high pressures and low temperatures inhaled by the compressor through the suction channel is then compressed so that the pressure and the temperature rose further flows into the condenser through the discharge duct.
