The junction box is used on models Kawasaki EN500 Vulcan models only to house the starter circuit relay (not the starter relay) and the headlight relay (US and Canada only). Neither of these relay is replaceable individually. If one of the fails, the junction box must be replace. In addition to the relay checks, the fuse circuits and diode circuits should be checked also, to rule out the possibility of an open circuit condition or blown diode within the junction block as the cause of an electrical problem.
