The Fiat Coupe ECu controls radiator fan operation directly according to coolant temperature and whether the vehicle is fitted with an air conditioning system or not. The fan comes on when coolant temperature exceeds 98 (1st speed) and 101 (2nd speed). De-activation occurs with a temperature lag if 2 behind the activation threshold. High or low speed functions are controlled by a resistor connected to a relay on the heating/ventilation system control unit. The following schematic illustrates the Fiat Coupe Heating and Ventilation System Wiring Diagram.
