Honda Civic (2002 – 2003 model year) cruise control system consist of: cruise control indicator, cruise control set/resume/cancel switch, cruise control main switch, cruise control unit, brake and clutch pedal position switch, actuator cable and cruise control actuator.
When the car is running, the Honda Civic cruise control function allows the driver to maintain car’s speed without pressing the accelerator pedal just by switching on the cruise control switch/button on the dashboard of the car (usually located on the left of the steering wheel). If in case the driver pushes the brake pedal when the cruise control is on, the cruise control will switch itself off immediately.
