The Toyota Camry Ignition System comprises of engine control module (), igniter, ignition coil, and pickup coils. The is programmed with data (rpm, intake air volume, engine temperature, etc.) for optimum ignition timing under all operating conditions. The igniter temporarily interrupts the primary current with the ignition signal (lGT signal) from the and generates sparks at the spark plug.
