According to Wikipedia,org, a router is a device that interconnects two or more computer networks, and selectively interchanges packets of data between them. Router is connected to at least two networks, commonly two LANs or WANs or a LAN and its ISP’s network. Most routers follow the same basic configuration process. Below schematic diagram shows the correct method of installation for a telephone socket that is used by both a telephone and the router.
