Seat Belt is a safety harness designed to secure the occupant of a vehicle against harmful movement that may result from a collision or a sudden stop. According to the NHTSA, seatbelts reduce the risk of death for a front seat car occupant by about 50 percent.
The following schematic shows a typical Seat Belt Warning Light Circuit Diagram. Seat belt switch is installed in the seat belt buckle switch as it is designed to maintain turn ON condition while driver does not wear the seat belt, the warning light goes on.
