what color are the wires for the fuel pump coming out of the ignition switch on a 97 chevy malibu 6cyl.

You should have purple wire and gray wire and one maybe two black wires at the fuel pump, One is to power fuel pump the other is for fuel guage and black wires are ground. Have to trace it to fuse/relay block.
