Suzuki Escudo which is also known as Suzuki Sidekick, Suzuki Vitara, Geo Tracker and Suzuki Samurai/Katana, was first produced in 1986. This article provides information about engine electrical system for Suzuki Geo Tracker, Sidekick and Samurai.
The above vehicle’s engine electrical system include alignment, ignition, charging and starting components. Disconnect the cable from the negative terminal of the battery, follow the primary wiring harness from the ignition coil up to the electrical connector, then unplug the connector. If you can’t find the electrical connector, detach the wiring right at the coil by removing the nuts from the terminals. Then using an ohmmeter, measure the resistance across the primary terminals. If the resistance is not as specified, replace the coil.

im trying to figure out the wiring on a 91 tracker but the old moter is got differant wiring and i was asking to see if you know what wires i can use to make it work so that i dont have to change nothing because it is a mud truck now so i dont care how it looks just want it to run lol thank you

I just bought a 97 tracker with 1.6 motor and auto trans/4wd. My problem is I put a fresh battery in it and the starter just clicks, headlites are dim, won’t operate turnsignal. Just low on electric. Can someone please help?

service engine light is on vechicle runs good but in the mornings the motor will tick untill motor warms up

when am driving,esp in 4th and 5th gear,the engine dips and during that time,does not respond even if i dip accelerator for 4 t 6 seconds.Engine does not cut off,when it does respond it jerks violently.

I am having trouble with my headlights. For some reason I have lost the day time running lights and the low beam headlights. Have checked all fuses and bulbs. The head light relay is working and can’t find the problem.
