The Pulse Ignition is a complete bolt on replacement ignition manufactured specifically for Harley-Davidson® Evolution, Shovel Head and Knucklehead engines. The MSD Pulse Ignition delivers a conventional 12-13 volt square wave signal that is compatible with most factory tachometers.

After the installation check all wiring routing and connections. Make sure all of the terminals and pins are crimped tightly and are fully seated in the connectors. Confirm all of the connections with the wiring diagram in the installation instructions. If any wires or connections have been modified or shortened, use an ohm meter to confirm continuity through the connectors.
