The following wiring diagram and harness apply for Nissan Terrano automobile series. Here you will find brief explanation and illustration of the electrical system, wiring harness and diagram of the vehicle. This manual covers detail discussion on harness connector, relays, power supply routing, ground distribution, switch, headlamp, lamps, meter and gauges, audio, power window, power door lock, theft warning system, location of electrical units, harness layout, fuse block, etc.
A little Electronic Control Unit (ECU) is incorporated in each actuator (one for each headlamp), which compares a signal voltage (Signal), coming from the headlamp aiming switch, with battery voltage (12V). The signal voltage varies with the position of the switch. Related to the difference in voltage the actuator rod will move more or less and adjust the headlamp beam angle accordingly.
